Dr Erika Gyengesi

Orsi was awarded her PhD degree in 2019 and she is now completing her second postdoc at Univerity of Sydney.

Faheem was awarded his PhD in 2019 and he is now completing his second postdoc at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, USA.

Rustam was awarded his PhD in 2020 and is now a Research Fellow at the National Research University, in Moscow, Russia, investigating social cognition and affective behavior in humans. 

Madhuri was awarded her Ph.D. in 2022 and works as a Research Assistant at WSU School of Medicine with Prof Anand Hardikar.

Lena joined us from the University of Gottingen, via the DAAD RISE internship program. She spent 3 months learning histological and stereological methods and had a great time in Australia. 

Rashmi has now completed her Doctorate degree, to graduate in 2024. She has secured a Postdoctoral Position at the University of Sydney starting early 2024.  

Ingrid has now submitted her Doctorate degree. She has secured a Postdoctoral Position at the University of Denmark starting in 2024.  

Ilaria has now submitted her Doctorate degree. She has started a Postdoctoral Position at the University of Edinburgh starting in 2024.  

Leena is 3rd year Bachelor of Molecular Medicine student who visited us via RISE DAAD intern program from the University of Regensburg, Germany. Hope to see you again soon Leena!

Evridiki is a medical doctor and completed her bachelor's studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and her master's studies in Uppsala University (Sweden). She is currently doing a medical internship with us, before starting her PhD at the University of Cambridge in the Baker Williams Gray lab.
